Ok, does that mean anything to you because it means absolutely nothing to me. I am so not a movie watcher. That's an understatement. I saw Rockey IV back in 1984, does that count. Oh wait, I saw "Ali" back in...oh I don't know 2001 or 2002. I"m sorry, I'm not movie buff at that is a fact I'll never dispute. And, my husband? He'll tell you straight up how much he loves movies but never gets to go because I don't like them and he has no one to go with...other than...me. Oh well, sorry Charlie.
Anyway, Entertainment Weekly has an article entitled"Hobbit" Formingg. Here's a snipet of it and you can read the rest on that link.
On the eve of what is expected to be the biggest Spider-Man yet, Entertainment Weekly learns that director Sam Raimi is seriously interested in directing The Hobbit, a choice that could potentially leave Spidey 4 without a director — and, says Kirsten Dunst, a leading lady.
Raimi's name has been floated in connection with The Hobbit ever since a very public dustup between Peter Jackson and New Line chairman Bob Shaye left the Lord of the Rings prequel without a director. Raimi went on the record for the first time about his potential involvement in the project during an exclusive interview with EW's Steve Daly for the magazine's Summer Movie Preview issue, on newsstands Friday: ''Peter Jackson might be the best filmmaker on the planet right now. But, um, I don't know what's going to happen next for me right now. First and foremost, those are Peter Jackson and Bob Shaye's films.
