Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 10:24AM I love diamonds. What girl (person even) doesn't? I mean, I know there are people who aren't crazy about them and prefer other stones, but I, I like the simple, clean look of diamonds. Of course, you can buy your diamonds anywhere but do you really want to? I mean, don't you like knowing that your diamond is top of the line, premium and clear? Well, duh, of course you do.
I just ordered myself a bracelet (I've bugged my husband to do it for years) that has our birthstones on it and I need 2 extra stones to put on the edges to make it look prettier and naturally, I chose diamonds. Again, I can't imagine someone would choose something else.
So, where do you get good quality diamonds? At the jeweler of course. How do you know who to trust? That's the tricky questions. You need to find someone who, like Katz imports, is in America's oldest Diamond District which was established in 1851. It is in effect, one of the largest. In this diamond district, jewelers line the streets and there is barely any room otherwise. If the idea of buying from the oldest diamond district isn't enough incentive, how about the fact that they are one block from Historic Independence Hall and just a short walk to the Penssylvania Convention Center. I mean, how elite does it sound to say they are located on Samsom street between seventh and eighth streets and on eighth between Chestnut and Walnut Streets. That sounds big doesn't it?
The jewelers there havae over 28 years in the industry and they have a huge selection of engagement rings. Afterall, that's the ring you probably wear the most anyway, you want that one to be special and unique. They do carry eternity bands, stud earrings, tennis bracelets, all in diamonds of course. They have loose diamonds with GIA and EGL certifications and you can design your own wedding band if you want.
Definitely sounds worth the trip to check them out if you ask me.
