American Idol - Season 4

TAGS:  American Idol Season 4, Anwar Robinson 

My first hottie:  Anwar Robinson.  He is a music teacher.  That would mean he should be very good.  I do remember the judges telling him that he was always in tune and pitch.  He was good, he really could have won it all but there were so many others this season that were just that good too.  I leave you with..Anwar

 

 

When did you first start to sing?

Age 8.

Do you have any formal singing training?

3 1/2 years at college with Dr. Scott J. McCoy. Training as a tenor in classical technique.

What other talents do you have?

I play the piano and write music.

If you don’t make it on AMERICAN IDOL, what will you do?

Seize every available opportunity that comes my way.

What are your personal goals in life?

To be known for making great music and positively impacting people's lives.

What album would your friends be surprised you own?

Ella Fitzgerald's "Hallelujah"

Who is your AMERICAN IDOL?

Stevie Wonder.

Do you have any rituals or things you do each time before you perform?

Prayer.

Favorite male pop artist?

Stevie Wonder.

Favorite female pop artist?

Patti LaBelle.

Most embarrassing moment?

None that I can remember.

What has been your proudest moment in life so far?

College graduation (2001).

If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have?

Writing.

What is your definition of an AMERICAN IDOL?

An American Idol is someone who knows how to change people's lives through music.

Who is your favorite judge and why?

I like all of the judges because they each have different experiences.

What would people be surprised to learn about you?

I have a good sense of direction.

How has this changed your life?

This experience makes me believe in dreams again.

Do you have any lucky charms?

A teddybear given to me by my 7th graders. Her name is Tenderheart.

Who are your heroes in life?

My mom and my big brother.

What's been your toughest obstacle in life?

Dealing with my father's death.

Do you think the audition process was fair?

Of course.

If you win, who will you thank first?

God.
